WINTER UPDATE: Since we are located in a more rural area with curvy roads, inclement weather can definitely cause problems with accessing the Dome (as it can with any home). In most circumstances, a 4WD vehicle will be able to tackle the terrain, but snow and ice is problematic. We will keep an eye out on the forecast for your stay and keep you aware of the conditions as we get closer. In the event that inclement weather is on the horizon for your stay we will be sure to notify you. Since it will be hard to access the Dome in snowy/icy conditions, we advise cancelling/rescheduling your trip and we will happily give you a full refund in that event. There are some locals that work to clear the roadways into the development, but it’s not always a timely event, and there is a risk of getting snowed in/stuck in our cabin development- it’s happened to guests of other cabins in the past :) In addition to the dome structure, guests are allowed access to our 26 adjoining acres (the land located just behind the unit). There are 3 unmarked hiking loops/trails around the property, so un-hinged hiking and exploring is encouraged, but please be mindful that there are no markings to navigate your way to and from the dome. Across the property are cliff edges, small caves, and even a small waterfall (located on the left side of our property).

**4WD VEHICLES ADVISED - USE CAUTION** We want ensure that all guests who book this space are prepared and safe when driving to the dome. Please note that the road to the property is gravel and contains steep hills, curvy turns, and is narrow (please drive slow and use caution). The drive to the dome is beautiful and the property is secluded and quiet. When you get to the property, there is a small creek that guests will need to drive through to access the dome parking lot. There is also an adjacent parking lot right before the creek, so if you feel uneasy about driving across it, feel free to park in the front lot and hike across the wooden bridge to access the dome.
